we left UT because UT2k3 was nothing what i liked about UT.. but 2k4 seems.. different.. it just feels different.. enjoyable again..

btw... according to fraps i get 80+ fps... so it's pretty damn smooth... and that's at 1280x1024

and hell yea its fast.. thats the reason [TgR] din't realy move from UT to 2k3.. was to different and way to fast.. i even think 2k4 is a little slower again but mayby thats me.. been playing online a bit.. but without all my keys settings and shit i can't realy play

used to have like 30+ keybinds for UT lol. lemme find some of em..

Btw husk.. just been looking @ the clanbase ladders.. the UT ladder ( Ictf Int ) were we used to play in is still one of the most active ladders on clanbase :roll: 269 active clans 7 pages.. can't say more then OMG.. and when i started looking for clans that i still knew.. well.. i know almost all lol..

clans like Royal ( old WfH ) or KiK ( killers in combat ) DIE...Tbuk.. PmS... FEB.. GkC ( they made a movie once to ) ow clanhill.. erm.. LTF ( they had a forfeit vs us.. damn french gits ) ow BoD.. meh so much clans i still know lol..

but one thing scarred the fuck out of me..

Kad is rank 5 in the ladder lol.. and.. FACT.. in our days we were just as good and better then them.. ( kad was made a few months after [TgR] even helped their leader set things up.. lol we always were close as in clans.. )

lol, I already know that mate I've been checking it once in a while, even was there when KaD restarted (they've died yes).

There irc chan is still the same and most members still know us pretty well

Anyway, I always had the feeling ut2k3 was actualy slower, and because it felt slower to me I didn't like it, not to mention the CRAP instagib gun they made of the freaking cool origional one ( didn't have that kick to shoot with )

2k3 gameplay was way faster then UT orginal the maps were just so big and shit.. din't like everything.. can't explain why.. it din't feel the same.. 2k4 is way more like the original only looks like 2k3.. everybody on the NC forum thinks the same way..

infact, I have proof the gameplay was slower.

to bored to look now but just search for any posts by epic on that subject, they really did make the gameplay slower. (although most people say its faster)

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, its just not the same. downing ut2k4 now, lets see where that goes
I was beginning to like ut2k3 normal weapons a while back but I returned to neocron so I kinda left it aside me.

i'v been playing UT2k4 demo all night realy.. vs little bots.. set on novice or something lol.. the lowest anyway.. played onslaught ( the linkage thing lol ) but when i played that online it got a huge ass mess.. played a bit of ctf and tdm vs bots and online was fun.. finaly played ctf a few rounds vs auto ajust bots.. din't know were i ended up tho but they got good but running tru their base with " speed" that dmg boost thing and a minigun = ownage

hmm no instagib mutator yet, was playing on adept mode, still to easy but I've got to go now, I'll try a high mode later, once I've adapted to the gameplay again, I'll go online

nah just played insta.. took me an age to just setup all weapons etc again a well.. ow btw get clanbot back.. can't frigging get Q to auth me.. keeps telling me: Q@CServe.quakenet.org No such nick

so i can't auth with that :/ and i'm using the right line as i looked it up on quakenet.org.. and i can still login with my auth / pass there so that aint the prob eighter :/

lolz, btw how can you play insta if you can't select any mutators? (all gray with me)

and clanbot is death, I still got the files somewhere but I've updated my server with a complete new linux distro so I'd have to do a shitload of things before I can get it back up... well I could offcourse temporary run it at my own pc, its on day and night anyway

btw highest I won at was masterfull, after that inhuman... the difference was enourmous, from 3 frags more than the 2nd highest down to 14 frags lower than the higest

still have some time (small delay in night plans) so I'll go do an online one for a change =)

well i'm still waiting to see the insta mod.. like to play insta a bit.. nw is fun to tho.. but u have so much more rules to watch lol.. redeemer translocator.. and a fuckload of weapons to setup.. insta has less weapons indeed.. but u need way better aiming.. true in ctf the map in the demo is HUGE lots of big open spaces. not that good for insta imo

but omg.. just watched the ladders..

UT has alot and alot more clans then UT2k3. so it wasn't us who just din't like it mayby more clans will like 2k4 to.. also insta has the double or more clans (ladders) in every gamemode
