Just for the sheer hell of it (Off school today) I unzipped the new NEMA worldmap so you can print it out..and I found a good image "unpak_er" for you all to use. Took a bit of searching so I thought iI'd save you the bother.

Only 44kb if you have basic framework installed:

Also, just for the heck of it dump this image into NCroot\gfx for the best crosshair ever (Nicely made by Dezior on Forums). This also comes with Neolauncher PRO so dont download if you have that.

I've spoken to Mighty Max who wrote the Launcher Pro, NC VFS, Neocron Image Viewer and the modzlib.bas.

As for images etc for NC. You don't need any kind of compression/decompression utilities. Any standard .wav or .bmp is suitable providing you remove the pak_ from the file name.

Removing the pak_ didn't work on either of my systems, but the imageviewer works fine, although not that sure about wavs.

Trust me.. it works. I replaced the sound for the door bell to something that sounds like a 'new email' type sound.

wierd...

I also replaced the doorbell sound- I extracted the sound I wanted using NC VFS (MightyMax) into its own .pak file and made a new folder tree identical to the doorbell one. Then I put the .pak into it, naming it as the doorbell sound.

Now to test... :P
