if you have a leagal copy of windows or a good key gen I'd advise it. If you got a bad key on a illegal copy then I'll have to say no cause then it won't install. Or is that just XP? Can't remember been that long since I used win2k

anyway run SP ( service pack ) 4 @ least and better run the normal updates to there been a load since sp4 and alot of them are vital if you wanna keep your comp virus / hacker free
