Ok with NC1 being down, and KK being as helpful as ever with posting information, I've tried to collate the information here.

Neocron Login Servers and Transfer dates

The neocron login servers have been down since about Midnight UK time on Thursday. It seems KK decided to bring forward some of the upgrades, meaning there has been a longer downtime then expected.

We had planned the server hardware upgrade and the accompanying restructuring of the server infrastructure for the downtime between Sunday and Wednesday. But due to recent hardware failures that required repairs, we have preponed the steps necessary to the upgrade and are currently performing them. While it is currently impossible to log on to the Neocron servers because of the changes to our schedule, the downtime planned for can be shortened. Therefore we have decided give you more time to prepare your characters for the transfer to Neocron 2 and will only shut down the servers at midnight (CEST) in the night from Monday to Tuesday.

Unfortunately we can not yet predict the exact timeframe required for the restructuring of the servers. Therefore we can not yet tell when the servers will be reachable again.

We hope this will server everyone. Thanks for your understanding.

The list includes.

All epic items, which includes:-

- City Admin Power Armour
- Biotech MOVE-ON chip
- Proto Pharm Resisitor chip
- NExT Reveler (Boo hiss KK!)
- Diamond Real Estate Storage Cell
- Tangent protype rifle/pistol/cannon
- City Mercs Speedgat Cannon

All keys - for vehicles and apartments.

PPU Spells - Holy Posion Sanctum and Holy Catharsis Sanctum
Spirit Mods from Silent Hunters and Spirit Ammo
Kamikaze Chips
Belt of Zargerus and other unused quest items

Soullight

Everyone's Soullight will be reset to 10, whether it's -99 or 99.

Faction Sympathy

Everyone's Faction sympathy's will be reset. This is what happened what I transfered a character on the 2nd transfer on Beta patch 139 with the new Faction sympathy system.

Your own faction 50
All Hostile factions -27
All Allied factions 14
All Neutral factions 5

If you are factionless, you will be put in the faction with the highest Faction Sympathy.

Money

You get upto a maximum of 60,000nc. The rough formula is.

Add up with base stats PSI CON INT DEX STR without any drugs, armour or implants.
Divide this number by 0.005
The figure should be roughly the money you will start with in NC2

@Character Transfer
Because of the past days' events, we decided to create the snapshot for the character transfer this Wednesday at noon CEST (GMT+2). This snapshot will represent the status of the characters that will be used for the transfer to the Neocron 2 Servers.

To be able to use the character transfer, your Neocron 1 account first has to be upgraded to a Neocron 2 account. The character transfer is only possible if the "Upgrade Account" option has been selected, it won't work with Trial- or eventually Box Version accounts.

@Item transfer from Neocron 1 to Neocron 2

It is generally possible to transfer items to Neocron 2, although in a limited way. Only items in the Quickbelt and the armor and implant windows will be eligible for transfer.

However there are a few exceptions you will have to consider, as these items will not be transferred over and you will have an empty slot in Neocron 2 if you take them along.

These items can not be transferred:

- All Keys

- All Epic Items (quest items and rewards)

- Kamikaze Chips

- Spirit Mods and Spirit Ammo

- The PPU spells Holy Catharsis Sanctum and Holy Poison Sanctum

- Belt of Zargerus and other unused quest items

- All Blueprints, Faction Medals and dynamically spawned items (created by GMs)

Additionally, the amount of money each character gets in Neocron 2 has been doubled.
