gotta take it back prob

fucking wireless network doesn't work.. or the fucking laptop is broken or the card. but as soon as i plug the card in the lap stalls in win 2k it just stalls power on / off resets it.. in xp the screen goes gray and only sollution is power on / off again.. sometimes you can get as far as to install but won't finish it because of stalls.. safe mode etc doesn't help a bit.

It'd be pretty silly to get rid of a laptop for the sake of a card. Does it have integrated wi-fi, and if so is it switched off/disabled in the bios?

yes there is integraded but can't get it to work eighter.. on the front of the lap is a on off switch and its off so.. bios is VERY limited can't ajust fuck all..

can't try another card since i don't have one

hehe. nah i got it fixed. went back to the shop this afternoon with my best m8. and got a new network card. a us robotics. even got 10 euro back to

so like i am posting this off my laptop atm

win xp on it SP2. uhm all software and shit is installed to. at least everything i could think of so fast.

think it wasn't the wireless as in wireless more the 3com card wouldn't work on my lappy.. with the usr card it worked first go.

3Com cards are known to have some problems. A customer of mine bought 25 of them for his laptops. We had to swap them out for cheaper ones after we tried everything.

Can't remember what we swapped them for, wasn't US Robotics though

linksys ? were just as cheap as the usrobotics.. just remember usr cause i used them at uhm college/work last year and on college the teachers use usr cards to (just noticed that today but hell.. noticed the same network thingy on my teachers laptop

).
