are their anyother MMORPGs like Neocron?


Me and my wife were going to play Star Trek on-line, but it looks like it wont be coming out any time soon.


We would like any suggestions on a SCI FI style MMORPG.

My wife has given up on neocron, and she wants something new LOL.

Not many I'm afraid. Think Face of Mankind may be worth a look, but when I looked last in the beta (2+ years ago) I was not impressed. It may have improved since then.

I think the MMORPG's I'm interesting are not out yet (Stargate Worlds being one of them)

There's nothing else like NC that I have heard of and is released.
Tabula Rasa is the current "big" sci-fi MMO, EvE is it's special thing, Anarchy Online has been around forever. City of Heroes/Villans is also meant to have quite a unique take on the MMORPG angle, but nothing really that similar to NC.

Fallen Earth is supposed to be in beta very soon, it is the closet thing to NC I've come across. Post apoc with different factions fighting for conflict towns and what not, huge explorable world, no zones, twitch combat. Looks really promising

I was playing wow but sorta broke up with the GF so been playing Tabula
rasa, only at level 9, but i like it. Really just playing it till AoC comes out next
month .know its nothing like NC but i think its going to rock, its work a look

That looks like it might actually be pretty good. I like that it uses a proper game engine (Unreal 3 engine). =)

Its now official me and my wife are not playing, the Fallen angels leader stripped our accounts, when she found out we were leaveing for another MMORPG. "She said it was for safe keeping", I asked for it back, and she said Im too busy and started flipping out! when my wife talked to her, and she started to hyperventilate and said this was too much stress!? then she kicked us out of the clan, and off team speak!. ( note to self, NEVER give ANYONE your log in details!)

so now i have 2 accounts, stripped.......

I learned the hard way

so we have bought Tabula rasa, and it looks fairly good.

We took it under sanityislost's suggestion.

I settled for the Half-Life 2 mod Dystopia. It's delightfully cyberpunk, but it's only an FPS.

Earthrise also looks good. If you haven't checked it out already, you should. Very similar to NC (in theory) but it's not cyberpunk theme, just post-apocalyptic.
