Just set my new monitor up. Figured it was time i used 2..

Anyways, i want to run a fullscreen application, CS or w/e on my primary while i type in msn on my seconday, only problem is it minimise's my game/video as soon as i click on my 2nd screen.

Solutions?

run the game on your primary as windowed mode @ the full screen resolution, that will stop it minimising when you want to chat away on msn on your secondary

tried, the application is choppy when ran in full screen mode.

Its a problem my ATI card has always had when trifling with games and etc. For example, having an exteriour action while in window mode.

But a cheap PCI videocard and run the second monitor off that. I ran a similar setup a few years ago. Alternately (and easier) buy a small (old) PC/Mac and use that for alternate purposes.

Also, i have a laptop, to run stuff like that on, but i have a problem with sharing internet atm, that cannot be avoided sadly.

I have found a solotion tho, so nvm .. Window mode games ftw
