Uhh.. goodluck with CCNA. I hated it - went thru the whole thing and then buggered off and taught myself C++, PHP, and some Perl (yah yah I know Perl is a bitch language). Cisco makes their gear FAR overcomplex (that and their ram always shits the bed). I much prefer a linux system to do any "major" (Class C size) routing these days.
As for going, if Uni is anything like college over here...go for it. Last year (my freshman year of college) was the best of my life. So many girls... so much alcohol - how can it go wrong?
