Make a popup on the rare db page that they that they can tell what they want to see changed or eddited or whatever on the forums. make a rare db topic :p

ooh a nice ajax popup saying 'give us your feedback' with a comments box and some radio butons would be neat

IMHO thats a bad idea, detracts from the site, and also makes people not want to come back. Pop ups are blocked for a reason, because they are unsolicited parts of the website. If you dont ask for them, then they shouldnt be there!

But because its ajax it wouldn't actually be a popup, you could align it to top right of the screen and give an option never to ask again, and make it semi translucent so you can still see through it... Would just be an additional div on the page - similar to facebook's "poke me" thing

Popups, in either popup style or ajax style which forces users for feedback, not going to happen. I visit the MSDN regularly and now and again, a ajax popup comes up asking "Would you like to take a survey" Answer is always "No"

However perhaps a more discreet heading between the menus and the list of rares, saying "New rares DB released - Patch notes here, and talk about it here" would be a bit better, it invites people to comment if they wish to.

Yeah I wasn't suggesting something intrusive, just something that looked nice
