ok so got my bro a new mobo put it in.. now during installation of windows already a big ass problem.. the U key doesn't work :/

now in windows the U and the L and the E and the F all bring out the windows shortcut keys.. sigh.. had that before on his comp to i fixed it by changing a register entry but can't remember what or were.. anybody know ?

also for somer reason it keeps canceling the disk checking.. before you login ( win2k ) already tried other keybord.. same prob.

well fixed the reg key thing but still no fucking "U" the whole damn key doesn't work :/ wtf is up with that.

for the u key, sounds like you have a faulty mobo, i would check the connectors on the mobo for the keyboard, if you have a usb keyboard try that. if not i would exchange the mobo

for the registery key you changed i would try google.

nor usb nor normal keybord works..

sigh @ work i build and install 10 pc's a day sometimes.. @ home 1 doesn't even work :/
