Hiya,

How many of u peeps r keeping an eye on Face of Mankind and r thinking of giving it a go ???

I tried it in the beta, it's more of an fps than mmorpg. You can do 2 things in it, produce stuff (like weapons, ammo etc) or shoot people with hand guns. Its pretty simple game really.

Ya, FoMK is a cyber-punk quake style game with a community.

I'm part of Beta 3, and as the last guy mentioned.. You got two things to go, either build stuff or shot your weapon at walls (since no one is around).

I've kinda given up on it, since it won't be my style of game, since there is no PvE in it.

Twilight War got my eye on this thing, too bad it doesnt come out till 06 but it does look like Neocron in a way but...different.

Yeah - Thats one of my most wanted also.

Fallen Earth here as a MMO ive been following for a while now

S.T.A.L.K.E.R aswell looks like its gonna slap a few peoples attentions awake when it *finally* gets released

Fallen Earth deserves a serious attention.

I used to play TFC with 2 of the guys on the FE team at icarus studios, altho the gits dont give much info on the game i shouldnt have to worry about getting into beta

Yea it looks damn good Shame it only recently gothe HL2 code... want it NOW wow isn't long though at least. Nor MXO.

May i just say, look at the parts about drugs some things weve always wanted in Neocron, addiction and withdrawl sounds very interesting also what sounds interesting is that it seems they might be going to add "decent" physics as they have the source engine, i dont know about anyone else but i hate it when you go speeding of a hill in your Reveler and just stick to the floor

Sounds like it's going to be extremely complex though - it's like trying to fit half of china into a teacup. It ain't happening!

BUT!

The amount of stuff they have working already is pretty awesome.

The screen shots from Fallen Earth looks good and the scenario sounds fun too, beta in spring, release planned for end 2005...all this is good

If NC2 bores me when i'm back online in January i'll spend a year with Anarchy Online, and then Fallen Earth.

(like previously said there is nothing much to do in term of tunning in Face of Mankind, character wise..)
