Well, I didn't feel like setting the bird on fire so it was teh text...the Phoenix is a firebird after all. Out of the ashes rises the Phoenix....

I'll do a few examples, this is just one of them. Patnience is a virtue.

I know what a phoenix is, but that doesn't mean you actualy have to use fire. the logo speaks for itself.

Have to aggree the flames don't look right, other than that it's fantastic.

Suggestion, try the "Phoenix Ltd" text in just a outline, same colour and style as the logo outline.

ok.. well.. first up.. the logo.. sexy.. and if we have any old-skooler's here.. Daved Braben's ELITE.. oh yeah!

I like it.. the second logo is better without the flames on the text. Have to agree, the name speaks for itself.

As for Elite, yeah I see what you mean - I played the original BBC version.

Yes Syntax.. that's the one.. And the music was Blue Danube, by Strauss. or was it Wagner? gah.

Frontier: Elite 2 was the best. Elite 3 was a pile of dog-wank but Elite 4 is still not released. But when it is.. woohoo..

David Braben's company 'Fronteir' has been working on it for nearly 6-7 years I think.. should be finished this millennium. :\

Yeah, I played Elite on the speccy an d Frontier: Elite 2 on my beauty of an Atari 520 FM 1MB. (I put the 512k mem chip in myself
