Finally.. after years of waiting and crying and bloodshed, I've sergically removed my modem and have a shiney little ADSL modem attached.

No more pings of 2000 when the missus goes online!! I'm gonna PWN!

like ADSL and SDSL for example?

No.. There are loads of DSL types..

RADSL, ADSL, DSL, SDSL and XDSL.

XDSL, I hear, is the latest and very fast. It also works over a larger distance. 10km I believe instead of 5km.
