Item Graphics.

Heres the tool with wich the new graphics are made.

http://mightymax.org

You can also make your own 2d graphics or get some others.
Hers a guide how to use the tool:

(All credit goes to eLcHi for this.)

Little ItemGFX HowTo:

1. Install ItemGFX
2. Start ItemGFX - Point it to your NC-Directory
3. Select the Item you want to change

Now you have two choices ... ItemGFX tells you how many times THIS gfx is used ingame ... Lets go with a Stealth Activator 1 for starters, that one is used 11 times.

We only want to change Stealth Activator 1 in this example

4. Select Stealth Activator 1
5. Click on "Make Unique"

-> Now this item has his own GFX ... still standart tho

6. Click on "Export"

Now take a look in the ItemGFX directory ... you will find a directory called "Images" there, inside will be the two gfx-files for the Stealth Activator 1

7. Edit the two Files ... the one with the _a is the alpha-mapping for when it´s not usable (at least this is what i think)
8. When finished, go back to ItemGFX and klick "Import"
9. Click on "Configure" and select "Modify ItemGraphics"
10. Click on "Run Neocron"

And the item you just changed should display the new shiny new GFX.

There is also a nice Cabinet tool.

The alpha file (for any program) is used to display it on various backgrounds (compositing). So basically, the alpha acts as a mask so you can see the object on differnt backgrounds in your HUD (since some folks change thier colors; a standard color for the background on the end image wouldn't mesh with the rest of the gaming items).

BTW, the NC RareDB ( http://ncraredb.tricin.net ) is listed as one of the "other links" in NeoLauncher Pro.

The site is a bit heavy on CSS and other DHTML widgets, so it can be slow at times, but it's damn worth it.

the Excell sheet ( with my outdated rares list )

http://members.lycos.nl/gibrippersclan/ ... tch191.xls

right-click 'save as'

It got my old rares list in it so if your gonna use it for yourselve make it empty ;)

I've given ALOT of rare parts away the last couple of weeks but I'm in need of cash and rares myself to so everything in this list is for trade...possibly for sale, if your in TgR then everything is for free offcourse :x

updated worldmap

Well, got this worldmap ready for quite some time now:

****updates****
-added genrep indicator at Battle Dome
-added genrep indicator at Racetrack
-added locations for tunnel entrances (as last checked on TS, 11 exist, if more found, plz contact me)
**************

Primary download: http://members.lycos.nl/gibrippersclan/cworldmap.zip
USE RIGHT-CLICK --> SAVE TARGET AS

Mirror: http://www.icarusnetworks.co.uk/neocron ... rldmap.zip

will submit to neocrons modifications forum in a week or so, when people have gotten used to the new tunnels and the fun of searching their entrances is gone, if you don't mind, don't go spreading the news all over the neocron world that they can find it here :p (just so nobody spoils the fun for others)

[edit: say.. if anyone got a good font that I can use in very small sizes, I'm in dare need, especialy if it looks a bit like the ones already used for, i.e. CC-2 and SC-1 and... etc...etc... So far everytime I want to use a font and want it to be surrounded by black (for viewability) the whole damn font becomes black at the small sizes... (using psp7)
Doing it manual is a REAL pain in the ass, and hardly as effective on readability (which is already hard at the small size it needs to be)
