Combat setups for tradeskiller Junkie

Postby Logan Ford » Sun Oct 21, 2007 8:34 pm

OK Guys :)

Since NC2 rebalancing and my Move abroad I have not had a combat char just tradeskillers.

I'm toying with the idea of bringing my Tank out of retirement.

He was last setup pre 2.2 so has all skill points released, had the old batqueen chest , move on, etc. setup.

Now I know thing have changed a fair bit so was looking for a template setup, yeah I know I should go figure it all out but between new job, new country, and family I honestly don't have the time ;)

So whats the deal ?

Basics -

Antigamma bones
hard backbone 3
Level 3 HC eye
Filter heart 2
no glove
Brain - PPR, FF CPU, (HC version Zerk 3), MC5 ?

No spells so grab one of those heal tools , Whats the deal with those? Never used them.

INT All in WEP
CON? STR?
DEX all in TC

I fancy taking a stroll out of <<Logans Emprium>> without being whooped at the first hurdle, so came here for some decent advice unlike the usual Flame i'd get on the NC forums :banghead:

Good hunting,

Logan

What do you want to use? High-tech (creed/rav) or low tech (ion cannon/dev) because normally low tech setups r no PA and have all dex in agility but with high tech some prefer pa, others dont but u normally go for a nice high dmg setup

http://exl.nskill.co.uk - has some basic setups on there, would be a nice starting point.

As little into TC as possible - you NEED that AGL!

Throw that damn harden backbone out of the window, and grab one that gives speed instead..

PA - Yea prob a good idea when you want to use Creed.

Try and get about 60 ATH or a bit more (NOT base -> total).

Speed is VERY important in 2.2 tbh

If your just gonna use Creed, you dont need loads of HC (its pathetic easy to use, and does fuckloads of dmg no matter what). If you gonna use lowtech, try and get 180-220 HC (180+ HC without beast, and then POP A BEAST)

Beast are too good for a tank, to NOT use..

But yeh, download Nskill tbh - play around, its always fun ;)

piercing/energy are both main dmg types - REMEMBER THAT, so at least 60% in them - AT LEAST...

Ok im out.. hope i was a bit helpfull.. tired + drunk = not making lotsa sence
