So, 2.2 huh? Is it worth coming back for?

There might be one of you around that still remembers me, but I sincerely doubt it. I'll just say "I'm a vet," and leave it at that.
2.2. I've noticed some fairly significant changes. Is the game worth coming back for? How are server populations these days? Balance? Do Fatal Runtime Errors still run rampant? Is the game marginally exciting? Thanks in advance.

Well, PvP is probably better now ...slower but more balanced.
PvE is hard and slow , so lvling from scratch will take ages, perhaps months to cap a char now instead of weeks..... and mobs can now also really get in the way of PvP (eg: a GRIM will wipe out most everyone one both sides of a PvP fight in CRP.)
But that will probably be adjusted.
I'd say its probably worth coming to see the new PvP as long as you have a capped or semi-capped char already.....

I may, at least if they still allow character transfers from Neocron 1.
That's how long it's been since I played. I tried DoY beta, and it just didn't do anything for me, so I just eventually stopped altogether.

Sorry but i know its balanced but it cant be better PvP is suppost to be very fast and a rush and now its omg i died WoW but before it was OMG apu ppu team over there s/d COMEONNNNNNNNN that was the rush theres nothing good about the pvp now apart from you can have more health but that doesnt really matter anyway cos you do fucking silly damage with the weapons.

PvP is now slow and boring... another change to help the carebears/whiners who got killed alot

my pe is that fast as he was in nc 2.1 (didnt mentioned much difference)

Some players have as high runspeeds, however things like heal rates on the new higher health etc have added so much downtime.
My PE is fairly quick runspeed-wise... but (unless I fight a Beam of Hell or a Ray of God) combat and downtime are much slower and calmer now.
I feel no adrenaline rush like I did in NC2.1
Even late in 2.1 where i rarely played... I still got a rush when PvPing. Now it's gone.

yeah i got a lil hint for you:
spec enough points and athletics and agility!
that really makes you faster -.-
man ... pvp is as fast as it was before, the only thing which got slower is the netcode. and thats bad enough

PvP has got a fucking load slower its supposts to be RUSH RUSH BOOM then its over nows it omg i have been shot 7 more of them and i will be dead WOW !!!!!

theres already a poll in the forums where you can vote for reducing dmg on weapons...
in german forums the community voted clearly for reducing dmg for 20%
