LomCalc V.1.0

Postby Critinator » Mon Feb 19, 2007 7:17 pm

Hello!

I was bored while lomming, so i decided to build this lom pill calculator.
It does exactly what name says. It calculates your need for lom pills. You can enter start point and end point. Its nothing special, nothing fancy. Im just learning programming and i need projects, so i did this.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/unamuna/LomCalc.zip

Even its just learning program, ill accept anykind of feedback about it and if it needs more features, please name it.

NOTE: It needs .NET Framework 2.0 to work.
I made it with C# in less than 30 mins :D so there might be issues.
Its not 100% Accurate, but so far its showing correct numbers... atleast +-1

Scanned with AVG 7.5, looks clean.

Always package with an installer in a .zip, believe me. Mind you, this seems to work pretty well.

Nah, it works right. You just added those together.
31 pills + 51 = 82.
Theres reset button to reset your pill counter. I made it so, that you can add many skills and count how many pills you need to eat in order to get all done.
So just reset and you are ok :)

BTW: Heres zipped file
http://koti.mbnet.fi/unamuna/LomCalc.zip
( It would be great if mod could change the first post link to point to this zip file.

Post updated.

However I will point out Virus scanning will not pick up any dodgy code that may be present in the exe, that may have been written by the Author. Of course the code may be 100% legit.

So anyone downloading this file, do so at their own risk. The THN does not accept any responsibility whatsoever.

Thank you! Well, i cant prove my honesty by anyway. But, but..
I have been playing neocron since retail, with few off seasons. Some of old players might remember me as member of "FF". I still play, even thou gametime ended yesterday ( going to order more ).

About program. It does not have ANY "side features" or "hidden ones". All it does, is calculate lom pills. I know people are afraid of viruses nowadays. But you have to trust something, dont ya? :D

This is my first program, that i have EVER released.
Thanks for using it.
If you like it ( or hate ), feel free to post your opinion.
