hmm, i was wondering... is it really so hard to make a 5 slotted weapon?
My friend (unfortunately she's don't playing anymore) have been constructing me 5 slotted weapons all the time, when i was in need. Yeah, they were mostly noob weapons (mendicant smg, unlabelled automatic pistol and so on) but she's been always making me a five slotter. It took some time of course, but usually it worked within 15-30 tries. And she had cst about 130.

Casce (that was her name), for example, had 5 slotted outstanding, almost perfect (all stats about 110% except damage and range = 120%) Pain Easer. Don't know from whom she got it but... it looked quite nice.

I think the CST cap has moved up a bit in recent patches, but KK keep telling us (And I aggree with them) that slots are random, so your friend always has a good run of luck. If I'm doing a run on making weapons, I have generally got a 4 slotted weapon within about 50 tries, the exception being spells which always seem to a bitch to get slots on.

I've also noticed that I get better stats on a rare weapon that has less slots. (And yes stats are a bit randon on rares as well)
