I wasn't sure what part of the conjugation "Rhino exploit" is a bannable offence, but apparently to conjugate the two is one, so woo. Go me. Just a minor vent in the fact that I feel somewhat shafted by KK since I returned.

First of all there was the response from hoder into the screw up with the zonerules in certain areas - IE, they don't appear, in all areas. And certain areas of the same kind are not subject to the same rules. ( IE CRP caves - a hunting ground seperated by a usable area change entity, and techhaven tunnels - the exact same setup...)

Now I suffered for that issue, and ended up around -80 SL and negative sympathies accross the board because they got thier zone definitions wrong. What did I get?

"sorry - that's our fault. We fixed it now."

Thanks. Did I get anything, like maybe even just a reset to 0 SL and symp? Nope. I lost countless Items in belts while running symp missions, and fighting to get my SL back to a reasonable level. In my opinion as someone who paid for thier screw up, at least some kind of reparations were in order. All it would have taken was a soullight reset.

But no - 4 of my paid days were spent f**king around sorting that out.

Next on the list - most of you know what happenned to the exiles rare appt during roll back. All we got from them there, even after we managed to prove it to them, that it's thier screw up, was that one of the exiles must be a thief.

Yes a thief on an expired account. Do the math. That was my account, and to be called a thief over it is a tad farcical.

And then asking whether blackmail is abuse when I've done my part and reported an exploit? Well, I get banned for that. For asking a question. The guy who was the root of the issue - the blackmailer and the exploiter? I had a mail forwarded to me.

He's gone unpunished.

I can't help but feel a more than a little vexed.

Welcome to the THN chillout and vent area, for bona-fide banned official forum users. How long is your Forum ban for? 3 days?

It seems even mentioning the Exploit word invites a instant ban. What is KK coming to, the moderation on the forums is justing going over the top at times.

yeah but at other times it seems so lax that you dont know if there are any mods? lol.

It does suck that you got banned for talking about the blackmail, I read the thread before it was closed, and I wouldnt say it was bannable material...

As for the exiles tech appt issue - its an odd one that, and I'd almost be inclined to suggest its you guys remembering it wrong, but you are all adamant about it so I guess not. I've heard no other complaints reguarding items missing because of the rollback, so my guess is it was some random unrelatedbug, that possibly (not necisarily) occured before the rollback.

I think I'm pretty sure whats gone on with the appt, because it's been a pain after the rollback we had at christmas. We had an issue where the apartment ceased to exist. The GMs sorted it out, but we weren't given a new key as it should have been fine. Methinks it's not.

I may try my luck with a brand new apartment with the rares in future, so as to avoid issue, and possibly be a tad more pessimistic in my judgement when KK say "it should be fine"

I feel thw same way about the forums atm aswell... It is too over moderated atm... mention one thing and its a ban...
