I have an alt of a clan member who is TS with - 99 FS for FA.
We have tried everything we can think of to help this char get into the + for FA symp and nothing works. Does anybody have any suggestions please

Get a pro city alt inside DoY, kill,rezz,kill,rezz,kill,rezz.....

Have fun

give him some HCK/TC and go to an uplink on the pro side and kill the CA mobs there?!

The new missions from the Resistance Officials in TechHaven which were added in 152, not sure if they actualy work but they raise symp regardless of sympathy or faction.

you mean that guy in TH1 that says that he CHANGES your faction without looking at your Symp or current faction?

p.s for 500K but thats cheap if it really works that way

None of the methods suggeested here (save those invloving the faction changer/new symp mission NPCs in TH) Will work. Killing enemy runners now only gains you your OWN faction symp, not other factions. Killing enemy NPCs gains you nothing.

Cant use faction changer, have already used him and doing the new Symp missions does not work either, we have tried

maybe licking the toes of the FSM helps? tried that?

p.p.s. bring some crackers they (the feet of the FSM) are quite cheesy

did you try the usual missions ... like doing missions for a faction where he got good symp to lvl symp on other factions that are allied to that one verry slowly? that should work even if it takes long.

compare the time it takes and the urgence of you needing that char in FA

At -99 you are going nowwhere fast, whatever happens. The best way is to indeed symp bitch - you may not recieve any changes for several kills, maybe up until 8 or 9 kills - when the symp stops coming - relog both and repeat.

It will take the best part of an evening to get that symp back. the hardest bit is getting it to the -70's.

But i do have to ask.

The clan memeber is a TS. How the hell did he get -99 FA? They're allied. Unless he's been running aound like a nutter wasting us?

Phayse - you willo not gain FA symp as a TS by killing ANYONE. FA missions (which I guess means the TH guys) are the only way.. End of story. My suspicion is that the guy switched from pro-city a while ago.

Yes the member switched some time ago to pro to do BT epic then switched back with the TH 2 faction guy. So now who knows which fac missions he should do as TS to gain FA symp. I am willing to make all the cubes he needs

Unfortunately there is no possible way to get the FS up, the only way that there is left, is to leave him afk somewhere for about a month and for the FS to increase to the "10", that you get when you start the game, and I am serious about the month. It took the good part of my summer playing Dr J Zoidberg for the FS of procitys' to go up to -20 from -99, and they havn't made it any quiker since then.
