I've asked this on the official forum, but after a bit of poking from my girlfriend I decided to post here as well.

Basically, how active is the Roleplay community in Neocron these days? I played in the beta right up until a few months after NC2 was released. Reactivated again recently to try the game, but kind of pootled off after finding a lack of involving Roleplay from players. But, needless to say, my girlfriend has picked up interest in the game so I'm eager to give it another shot myself.

Anyone able to help out? I remember Roleplay being relatively active at one point, but it kind of died during the transition to NC2.

Roleplay took a back seat during the transition to Neocron 2 as everyone got back where they were, its very much alive again if you know where to find it - The Fallen Angels is a very RP active faction on Terra.

There is not near as much of it around as there used to be [cries] I miss pluto[\cries] But there is still some around if you are friends with the right people! *cough* us *cough*

Who were you in NC1?

You can be one of our sworn enermies if you like... you don't have to be in FA to Roleplay. We get City Admin trying to get us hot under the collar posting on here, but they are just as welcomed here.

I think everyone has said what I would have said, but give Phoenix a shout on Trade NC, DoY Alliance Chat or Fallen Angels Faction Chat.

Helen Angilley, later became Alashandra Delantae before - after NC2 went live - a brief stint as Jasmine Clark.

As I said, Roleplay was pretty damn strong, but it seemed to drop completely off the map during the transition. But....ack, I'm picking up a cheap copy tommorow and going from there.

Me and the girly are kinda desperate to find a game we can both play and enjoy.

Guardian Tech Labs, or CvOR. Janos Blake and Zane Shadowfall was running the show, along with many other names such as H-Unit 51 and Syntax-Error

I'm the girlfriend, heh.

I tried Neocron before but didn't feel like paying the money to go from trial to registered (lots of money there) just so I could empty a whole clip at a sewer rat before it finally died and to do that over and over for god knows how long.

But now I'm very bored and willing to give it a try. Part of it is that with the PVP server there will probably (eventually) be some sort of dichotomy of what kinda player plays where, so maybe Terra will start attracting more roleplay, which would be doubleplusgood.

Welcome to the THN I remember my first weekend yeats ago hitting rats in sewers.

I've not played Neptune that much, my reasons being mainly the clan comes first, so Neptune is out for me a bit.

And yes, I do hope Terra does get some more roleplayers.

Didn't the players from Neptune have a lot of roleplayers? I've been wandering around the official forums and it looks like a lot of them went to Terra, so that ought to be good?

I dont think many people roleplay in neocron much anymore......and also for the fact, many people have left the game for bigger and better MMORPGS ( WHa? no FRE'ds? Awwwww ) Its a sad day for KK and penguins.
