How the fuck does this work anyway???
I've been in the top 20 forever, but I keep shifting positions almost on a daily basis...what is up??? Anyone have a clue as to how this is computed?

Well.. I'm having fun right now. My FA Symp is -20 and I'm factionless. When's this patch?

I've been fucking around with faction sympathy last night, these are the facts I gathered:

1. Many people lost alot of faction sympathy ( husk is down from 80 to 10 somehow and garett was down from 50/60 to 32 and I don't remember killing any allied faction member )

2. Clan faction sympathy is no longer shown in F6, instead your own sympathy is shown.

3. Clan members list on info doesn't show the accurate faction sympathy of each member.

4. When you raise your faction sympathy you need to relog to see the chances, the game does count the change tho, for instance I could do missions for a sympathy of 62 last night while it still showed a sympathy of 43, when I relogged it said I had 65, which is the accurate one.


I doubt kk will raise your sympathy after the patch so all FA with low sympathy should go to BD hq ( not the hidden one ) and kill those merchants there, you won't loose soullight for it but will loose faction sympathy with some other factions like biotech and protopharm.
Or you could wait for ages till your faction sympathy as at the normal hight again...whats that 25 or something?

As for soullight, you raise it when doing missions, when you raise it you make your top sl higher, which means when you kill someone it will auto raise back to your highest level in time.

Hmm, may explain a few things. Back with Tangent, I was #20 on top soullight pretty much right after joining GTL (3 weeks after I got the game). Of course it went to -11 when Zane let me kill an NPC in Industrial sector. That's right, a 111 point SL loss from killing a single NPC. WTF kK?? Took til about a month ago to get it back to 100, and here I am back in the top 20 again. Seems very odd to me. Either there are a lot of folks constantly doing shit they shouldn't be doing or I'm one of only 25 people playing on Pluto.

My SL is 16. :\
