Forum [NO LONGER] Under Construction

As of now, this forum is under construction.
Because not all features are 100% ready yet the forum will not be disabled, however, many boards will get disabled.

The café and roleplay forum will not be locked, the changes there will be made realtime.

Changes include:

• Upcoming new forum alignment.
• Upcoming new forum naming.
• Upcoming new forum security settings.
• Upcoming new default forum theme.
• Upcoming new forum usage rules set.
• Moving around of many topics.
• Moderation of older topics. (move/delete/ignore)
• Moderation of various groups. (delete/ignore)
  
• And many other (yet?) unnamed changes.

(Possible...) (Near?) Future plans for the forum:

• FA members of the merged servers combined on one forum.
• New smiley pack. (Undecided weither it will be added with the new theme or not)
• Moderation team.
• Special forum modifications allowing more diverse post/reply layouts aimed at supporting an even higher quality of roleplay stories.
• more...more...more- Still all yet very much undecided.

If any of the above possible future plans is to your liking ... you might wanna tell us

If any very big mistake was made somewhere... please inform us A.S.A.P. - A backup is available, but for a limited amount of time!

The forum is no longer under direct construction.

I hope you will all enjoy it!
It all took a good deal of discussing and thinking things out.

The new theme is made by Mr. Brammers, if you find parts that are to be corrected a bit please tell us. (the old standart theme is still availeble as bram said, your able to change themes from within your profile)

The smileys are a combination of freeware with some hard labor to make them animated and transparant. This was done by myself, if you have any comments, good or bad, please tell us! (they might need a little tweaking on the roundish bit I think, will try to work on that later)

The setup of the various boards is the result of many discussions about the future and usability and past experiences with the by now long history of the board.

I thank Morpheus for his input on many of the discussions and for bringing in new fresh ideas.
And last but not least I thank the community (okay okay... not so official, your all friends of mine ).

I also thank my girlfriend for keeping my mind sane and far away from this lately

And erm... I thank god for making this world... and *cough* I thank the big bang for helping me remember that I don't believe in god... and I also thank the grass for being green.

Neocron 2 is out! yippie!!!! \o/

Well Nidhogg (or whoever you are) do we want people from other servers on THN. It's always felt like a Pluto only forum.

I'm not saying I object really, I'm just throwing it out there to see what other people think.

server....since pluto is well and truely dead.

That topic... has been long done, sorry if you missed it.

It was found in the Faction Notices - this forum however was/is sadly enough private to members of pluto clans, however access was later obtained by all, by joining the FA-Uranus group, which was created just for one purpose... allowing uranus fokes access to what was once the really active private part of the forum.

Anyway... All was for it at that time - old discussion will be available again later - if you want, you can continue the discussion here, but I doubt to see changes
Also... there is no longer a pluto... this forum would die a quick death if we really kept it within the small pluto circle.

Thanks for the input, we want to do as much decisions possible with input from the community the board serves.

Hi everyone,

As you probably have noticed the forums look completely different! We have been working for a little while on this skin for the Techhaven Network, and decided to release the new theme in celebration of Neocron 2 - Dome Of York finally coming out!

Anyway, if you find any issues or problems with the theme, please let us know so we can tweak the theme if needed.

For those who have access to the THN at work, the old Techhaven "work friendly/I am busy honest boss" V1 theme is still available - click on the profile to change it!

Post problems, reports, etc here please!

Techhaven V2 Theme - updates and fixes. (Rev 107)

Fixed capital F in "For the free minds..." and made it small letter.
Fixes for input box colours, quote colours and code colours.
Made arrows on mini reply icons orange.
Fixed mailbox icon background colours.
Fixed moderator delete ' X' icon

Other bunch of cleanups to keep my source control system in check.
