Also added a version of my own on the bug report forum... mine is not intended for use ingame as it stands, I've actualy alligned all sectors that where possible, this is nice for understanding why you get lost all the time... the allignment is not done well as usual.

A few tips on using the mini-maps in DoY, in NC2 since some (if all) are bugged. This was the case for patch 118 and the DX7 driver, so this lot may be all fixed.

1. The TG sector map (Doy Sector 1) needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise, just in case you wonder where the hell you are going.
2. Crahn sector is completely broke, and I'm afraid Truie Sight Sanctum isn't going to help here.
3. Nearly all the mini-maps needs a little stretch in the Y direction downwards.

Lmfao with such a stretch the difference becomes even bigger and there will definatly not fit a doy center inbetween... I never understood kk mapbuilders... but now I do, they have no idea what there doing :shock:

The can design alright, and it looks okay/good to, but they have no clue about when to design what, when to add more eye candy and when to add less... nor do they seem to have any idea about map flows... well atleast they do have an idea how to make it feel like a city ... now if they'd just started to understand one needs a plan and drawing first... before starting to design and just add the sector connections later :?

Heh, I wondered if the maps fitted or not!

My bug report is on the old closed beta forums, which is damm annoying for checking if I'm about to report the same bug again.

I wish KK didn't make NC2 open beta like it did, perhaps open beta to all current subscribers would had been more sensible before going to full blown open beta. It would cut down on all the crap flying around on the forums.

I have virtualy no hope they're gonna fix that... but they REALY should... its about the most annoying thing I know of neocron and neocron 2 now.

Get some good level designers for a change grrr.
