Am I being thick about imps or not?

Just been fucking around on the skill manager to sort out my tank setup, noticed that the Marine's CPU seems to give the same benefits as the MC5 Herc!.
Is this right and if so is it possible to just have x2 Marine's CPUs in (one would replace the zerk 3 imp) instead of chasing the impossible MC5 imp dream?

Yes, the MC5 Hercules gives the same bonuses as the Marine except it gives + 6 Str instead of +5
and no you cant have 2x Marine CPUs in your brain

no you can't ever have 2 the same imps in your head or anywere else
and like tallon said it all MC5 chips give the same things as the normal highest "rare" chip.. just +1 more in the main stat..
like a DS is a psi core but with +6 in psi.. and the SA is a sf but just with +6 dex..

if you're into fantasy a bit, come on, making a movie from Tolkien books is quite a challenge where Peter Jackson did well imo.

yes it is a challenge, at which he failed miserably.
Killer- you think I actually meant that? Yes, it takes me back too- from the days when I was 7 and me and my friend would play zelda for hours at his house. (on an n64 lols)
