And to save confusion and mayhem how about we all talk in 24hr clock?
the confusing aint about the 24 hour clock.. its about how far "we" as in holland / germany etc are from the UK now.. 1 hour or 2 hours.. normaly we'r 1 hour ahead.. but atm 2 hours some say...
but erm.. get this.. brammers said yesterday on vent something it was 11.30 already when it was 12.30 ( or 0.30 how you want it ) in holland.. so that would meen we'r still 1 hour ahead and not 2
edit..
dude you just make things worse.. wtf is cest now then... i know CET ( like in our timezone ) and GMT.. afaik CET is GMT+1.. getting crazy

Brammers wrote wrote:I see why everyone on the forums gets confused about time zones now. What you see is the normal timezone you are in, but nothing for daylight saving time. (I just opened the clock on my pc which is NT4, and it says GMT Daylight time)
OK running thru London is the 0 degree line, which the worlds time is based on called GMT - Greenwich Mean Time. All the clocks are syncronised from this point. The world is also divided into 24 hours
Most of Europe (Germany, France, Italy) is on GMT+1 which is 1 hour ahead of GMT. Parts of the US is on GMT-7.
Simple so far? Well throw in daylight saving time, in which you put your clocks ahead 1 hour in about March and back 1 hour in October. So as the UK is in daylight saving time it's known as BST - British summer time, which could be seen the same as GMT+1. Europe does the same thing I believe, so it is currently on GMT+2.
I hope this clears this up!

Makes it hard to set times that everyone can understand tho...
For instance, Europe has Daylight saving times aswell ( not the timezone but the extra hour ) However we still call it Central Europe Time -- CET.
Is there a name like that for UK's timezone?
[TgR]KILLER wrote:i don't even try reading it all only dit read the lowest part were you said they are always 1 hour back of us.. but all times for the event are in CEST and i don't fucking know what timezone that should be.. could be US +939 for all i know =)
but i got a cupwar @ 21:00 in OUR time so i'll be on when its over
btw.. i always put all wartimes etc in CET for the 2k4 wars.. and always used CET as our timezone everywere.. and always when i spoken to uk ppl they were an hour behind on us.. so i just don't care about those things.. We are CET and uk is 1 hour behind all year long no matter what ppl say
