edit: Ihave also just found out that there will be a little hunt and chase event going on before the party dont know any details but the link below gives u a brief idea whats happening

OK running thru London is the 0 degree line, which the worlds time is based on called GMT - Greenwich Mean Time. All the clocks are syncronised from this point. The world is also divided into 24 hours

Most of Europe (Germany, France, Italy) is on GMT+1 which is 1 hour ahead of GMT. Parts of the US is on GMT-7.

Simple so far? Well throw in daylight saving time, in which you put your clocks ahead 1 hour in about March and back 1 hour in October. So as the UK is in daylight saving time it's known as BST - British summer time, which could be seen the same as GMT+1. Europe does the same thing I believe, so it is currently on GMT+2.

Now to make this clear for those still not getting it:

Windows is a fucker for a teacher (duh)
GMT is always the same. (edit: hmm is this true or do you guys still call GMT+dst simply GMT? ... if thats so it wouldn't be right as the other side of the world is not in DST afaik.)
Other timezones are at the summer time at there normal spot, meaning CET (central europe time) for example is between march and october GMT+1
Other timezones are in their winter time, between october and march, at there DST (daylight saving time) spot, adding an extra hour, which means for CET its GMT+1+DST or in other words GMT+2

There, that should clear things up for everybody still confused :roll:

So killer, GB is always one hour back from us, cause in wintertime they are GMT+DST ... so GMT+1 when we are GMT+1+DST ... which is GMT+2

cheers for that post husk i am totally confused with timezones but i gave that link to worldtimes so that u can actually see that at 7:30pm (i am in london) its 8:30pm in amsterdam.

I hope everyone can make and is surer about times if not i will be ingame in 2 hours and people can ask me ingame excatly how long to go lol :lol:

i don't even try reading it all only dit read the lowest part were you said they are always 1 hour back of us.. but all times for the event are in CEST and i don't fucking know what timezone that should be.. could be US +939 for all i know =)

but i got a cupwar @ 21:00 in OUR time so i'll be on when its over

btw.. i always put all wartimes etc in CET for the 2k4 wars.. and always used CET as our timezone everywere.. and always when i spoken to uk ppl they were an hour behind on us.. so i just don't care about those things.. We are CET and uk is 1 hour behind all year long no matter what ppl say

din't get in eighter played our last cupwar ( we'r leaving the cup

) and after that had some general fucked up night with 2 girls talking shit to me and totaly make my head spin around.. my head feels like its going to blow up soon.. trew up this morning.. gonna get some more sleep now.. damn.. i r fucked
