Sorry to pick on this one line, but when did that become true?

I don't care if they sub-letted the domain/webservers/gameservers/forums/wives to the kingdom of hell, via timbucktoo, care of mr and mrs Idontgiveafcuk, it's their still game and their responsibility to resolve as soon as possible, even should that mean pulling the whole lot into a new datacenter.

Please don't assume or let it be said, that's it's not their fault, because any court of law in the world would point their finger at KK. We pay our money to KK therefore all respondsibility lies with them.

You completely misunderstood my post.
The entire point was that even if it the cause of outage is something beyond KK's control (as they claim this is), there are still many things they could be doing or have done to solve the problem. Yet they never do.

We can always speculate when KK is not forthcoming with exactly what have happened. The company 10tacle which ( apparently ) is the parent company for KK have 9 days ago got a new CEO with new plans on restructuring the company. You can also see that the 10tacle is a major and public shareholding company which shares have drastically dropped the last year from around 15€ to 1.7€. That pretty much says they are ahead of big changes and I suspect Neocron is not very high on their priorities.

However with a new CEO for the parent company and a big need to raise the company value there is always the possibility that there are positive changes also for KK and Neocron in the near future.

The one thing I would really expect from KK would be that they inform their customers on an estimate, will it take hours, days or weeks to fix the issue. I's very annoying to check the webpages/forums or the launcher every other hour.

I want my Neocron back and I want it now. I could have built a datacenter in less time than this has taken. This is inexcusable.
What do we have to do? Take up a collection to pay the server bill?

Someone might want to post this over at the official forums... please do it as a quote, but also provide a link to clarify it's origin.


Dear Support Staff / Moderators / GM's of KK,

Since your the only ones speaking to us, probebly due to the fact that KK's must be aliens of some kind who cannot communicate with paying customers, I must ask questions.

We the players have been patient and understanding enough now and it's time for some direct answers to the questions that are being given to you. If you cannot provide those answers, then it's about time you found someone who can because I am tired of being fobbed off with "we are working on the problem".

    I want details now please... is my "ALL" my data secure? That includes, personal, credit card, account and game.

    What is the nature of the problem? in detail please, cause I reallly want to know why there is such a big delay.

    What is being done to resolve this problem right now?

    Rumours indicate "Monday/Tuesday" before a repair is made, is this true?

    What are your plans for recompensing players as a result of this mess?

If they don't do fucking Backups of the DB they deserve to be hanged up on the highest tree we can find. I mean WTF!!!! If that realy is the problem which I hardly can believe, since after all even KK can't be that stupid, I'm definetly going to cancel, allone for the reason of not giving money to morons.

I can only make conclusions and they are not facts but if you have a ready working systems that breaks and it takes a week to fix it then you are not prepared at all for failures, is it either data or hardware. This kind of behavior by KK is not new to me and I'm not at all surprised, they havn't changed at all since the release of Neocron. I will wait and see what and how KK will handle things when they get things fixed before doing any decisions about canceling.

i cant believe that it tooks so long to insert new hardware and get the backup back online WTF they must be horrible stubid

well im banned @ the NC-Forums because i told them that they re incompetend but this is the truth sorry guys 3 days of wasting time from payin customers by doin fucking nothing sry :(

and dont tell me it isnt KK´s fault the ip is still reachable connect via SSH is possible clients online it is easy to go on that machine and get it back online i dont know for what they earn their money but of course not for beein intelligent

i was banned by trivaldi some other guys were banned too because they just sayd that earthrise will be better if its out lol this is a bit like fidel castro or [Edited] over there ^^ sry i dont want to screw to much but im really pissed of that customers politic

As I stated on the official forums, this is the exact reason I will not be playing Black Prophecy. KK as a company cannot be trusted, and I will not get myself any further involved with a company that treats its Loyal paying custmomers in this manner. It is sad, BP could be a really cool game, but I will never know.
