but the thing i am worried about.. is more servers gonna be getting there then.. so we might get a pluto agian then. a 1 char english server.. and that just plain sucks ass... cause i'll move my chars to the english server @ release so i would have to start all over on a 1 char server when it finaly gets there and i aint planning on that..

The Clan name I wanted (which may offend some) was AnS for Anglo-Saxon. Of course, this is only if we goto the 1 slot server.

All of the names, text are client based. Just goto Jupiter, make a character, and you will see that all the item names, menus, etc are in English.

The only difference is that the people there speak German, which isnt a drawback as I dont talk much anyways.

This really is a tough one, since I wont go to 4 slot server and I wont go to a German server. I'd still like to go to some server tho.. Why?

Im not a racist, I have nothing against German peeps, but its a fact that most of them cant (or refuse to) speak English. This makes a huge language barrier, it will be like two different Fallen Angels, two different NCs, two different DoYs. People just wont interact between the Germans and the rest. This happened in Jumpgate, the only game that put Germans and the rest on the same server. It was really spooky, it was like the Germans didnt exist to the rest and vice versa.

Why not 4 slot server? Because having only 1 slot kinda filters the people that come to the server. One filtering factor is that you have to interact with other people to get anything done and hence have somekind of attention span. You cant just log on your resser, then cstr and finally poker to get an imp done for your fighter (well, except Ressi), which brings me to the reason number 2.

Most people have 2 or even more accounts, which is the second "filtering factor". It just tends to be so that people who have multiple accounts also pay themselves for the accounts, which leads to people being somewhat older and more mature on the server.

Of course, this is heavy generalising, but this is how I see things. I even bet that most have had similar thoughts at some point, but few say it out loud.

although I agree with spanks, I prefere a 2 slot server anytime over a 1 slot, with the upcoming price increase having multiple accounts is rather painfull for our bank accounts, a 2 slot server I think would have basicly the same advantages as a 1 slot(not entirely offcourse) but would save us some cash
