I have to say, tags are acceptable, but it should be something like this:

1. No tags next to each other, eg. ][arvey
2. Max of 2 tags, eg No []mg[][][][][][][]
3. Tags must have text in them, eg. Not [] but [TgR] acceptable

Then i'd say it'd be okay. Capitilzation is for the purpose of Roleplay, and it's perfectly valid. However, if they did something similar to this:

1. No more than 2 caps every word in a name, eg Not HuSkY but HusK
2. No 2 caps next to each other, eg Not BLEH but Bleh.

If they put those in, to make it more specific, then I think it'd be accepted by most-

Agreed, they need to give people a little more space to breath, just make it harder to create the uber1337 names, which will always appear anyway, just not as annoying as now.

yep, thats perfect, would offcourse still allow names like L33T LamoR but then again... right now it would just become Leet Lamor, which is not much better.

if they really want to avoid all that they can just add rules like disallow 2 of the same number to follow up, and manualy block all instances of leet and lamer and that stuff =)

As the filter stands, it's flawed.

No names like "Lucy McDonald" Has to be "Lucy Mcdonald" Pefectly valid name, espically for the Scots here, and I'm sure the Scots would be offended if I didn't capilise the D.

No names like "Junker D. Coy" Has to be "Junker D Coy", and just to let you know that is one of my members in Phoenix.

And also no "Dr. Evil" Has to be "Dr Evil"

Also how about "Brammer II" Nope comes out "Brammers Ii" which for roman numerals II is perfectly valid, but Ii...no thanks.
