Teh combination of roleplay, scifi and pvp.
Althought there's not a lot scifi about monks and the pvp, well.... let's just say that the server is turning into one where people see pvp as opwaring, nothing else.

i quite like the 'psiberpunk' setting the games adopted, but not the game imbalances its brought with it

if they rebalance to any reasonable degree (the fact that neocron is so skill based in pvp means that the game doesnt need to be anywhere near as balanced as a game like world of warcraft to be fun) then it should rock

the only problem then would be that they took away all the good places to pvp.. theres no point raiding either city with the extra guards and safezones, MB used to be the best pvp location in the game but now its carebear shite, crp is a joke of a pvp spot, everyone there is an apu/ppu team or has an LE, nf is boring after 3+ years of the same, pp3 pvp is wicked fun but happens very infrequently and you get -99 sl every trip there because losers always zone into leveling areas

they should just fix the game and take out every safezone apart from TH and the faction HQs, remove the para effect on guards and up damage by 10%, cut about half the guards in the city (or give them a 30min+ respawn timer)..

dunno, just some ideas

i agree with the - soullight should be back like it was in nc 1 with the diffent factions in one city

but this game is becoming a monk game but saying that i have seen a hell of alot of tanks at op wars

well if they set reloads back to how they were, upped CS damage by a bit, fixed Rav, fixed every broken dex based weapon and put some small monk nerf on or something then i think it would be pretty balanced

im thinking make shelter/deflector absorb only a certian amount of damage before it drops, say 20-40 seconds worth of CS punishment depending on the aim of the tank and make it so you cant reshelter/deflector a forign target within 10 seconds of them taking damage or being anti buffed, this would also fix newb buffing

there... no HUGE changes to the game system, just a few slight tweaks and fixing whats broken and you have yourself a pretty fun balanced game

i know PEs and spys would cry and complaina bout this but PEs with damage boost and close to blessed regen with tl10 heal and medkits would be on the same kind of level as tanks, and maybe give spys a natural damage inc with all dex based weapons due to being much more proficiant at them, say.. 1% for each 10 int levels? so a capped spy would have 10% or 11% total damage inc

the more i write these ideas down the more i like them!

Everyone has their own oppinions about this subject..

IMO, I like the game inblalace because it makes NC... NC...

TBH, a few things coiuld eb fixed but I thinink there is relatively little that they can do withought monks completeley dissappearing entirely.

well a lot of people want to see pes and spies brought up to the same usefullness in group fights aas monks, this simply will not and should not happen

Well people keep calling for big PPU nerfs. However the nerfs people propose just tip things into one classes favour, and when someone comes up with a good solution, people flame it because they don't want to loose their advantage.

I've been thinking how one would remove the PPU completely. First of all, you have to change the APU class to allow them to self-buff, so say bye to the holy spells, and the top line of PPU spells would be blessed, so you have an APU blessed hybrid.

That still too powerful, so the APU's damage output would have to be lowered a lot probably to the point that it would have to be less powerful than a PE with a Judge as monks will have better PSI to heal and cast quicker. Result everyone is on the same level in the playing field, but this does not solve Monk-o-cron, as you would now be zerged by twice as many monks.

That's my random brainfart of the day.

Lol...

It's a good one though... There is no real way that you cna balance the game withough fucking one or two classes over at the same time. If you remove one then there is going to be anoother imbalance to another class... Who dont we all play as 0/2's... No whining there...
