yeh, my alt is Mr.Garett ... though nobody ever made that connection hahaha, well besides killer, but its obvious he remembers it, he's like a twin I never wanted to have (j/k )

If we go on that way, I doubt many have made the connection of system shock towards the mother of all futuristic role playing stealth games... system shock (like the thief games, also made by lookingglass studios)

Btw I just finished thief 3, and I must say, its not as cool as thief 2 was, but its definatly worth the thief name =)
Its a bit like thief 1 I gues, has some nice twist in story to, I'd recommend the game to anyone who loves very good storys and or stealth games (stealth bit like splinter cell for the newcomers to stealth, set in darkages)

This being an event that I specialised in, I decided to give it a shot

The race was totally buggered up:

We drove BACKWARDs around the track (Not the way the track was designed, so there was a huge number of opportunities to cheat by cutting corners)

We were not allowed to kill or hurt other people or their vehicles.

We could only use a Chaincraft v1.

The result was:

Everyone cheated (Except myself and Cadeo(BT,SXR))

(Combined) We were all driving at the same speed and there was no possibility of overtaking. The vehicles were also bugged so basically, whoever started first won. This did actually happen.

And to top it all off, I was killed in an illegal PvP attack by an unknown attacker, half way round the last lap. I did not see the attack and I was driven over by a vehicle afterwards, so I believe the attack was another competitor, probably a Mirror-Shade.

After consulting my teammate OVERKILL, we resigned.

at least phoenix got some pretty good buisness before the race.. like everybody was buying vehicles

Yeah, made 500k. Major supply problems tho, despite our efforts- we made 3-5 of each vechicle and ended up selling nothing but Chaincrafts.

yea kinda would have helped if you knew beforehand the first race would be chaincraft online.. since well. who the hell got a chaincraft. most people only got a hovertech.. ( well i got a combat chaincraft but thats out of the point )

anyway.. next time next does an event try to find out beforehand what vehicles will be used .. glad to see phoenix made a stock tho

Yeah, it turns out the person who killed me was a Biotech, SXR, name Cadeo. Was a misunderstanding though. Pity he didn't say when I asked who killed me. Luckily Arbiter was standing next to me when I died, so he saw.

The event wasn't actually the right one, because Alex Starr wasn't there so we had no Next FC. Henry Dorsett stepped into the breach and organised...

As for the race, it was a shame I couldnt race in the first event. The doorbell rang and I had people over for a bit so had to miss it. The third race up the mountain howver was just absolutely awesome. Best race Ive ever beenin.
