New to NC

Postby Dar » Fri Nov 03, 2006 7:31 pm

Hello All,
I am just starting out in NC and have been playing around with several characters. I have a spy driver that I am working on that should also be able to work in hacknet and do implanting. I also have a constructor and researcher that are currently 100 in their respective skills. I have only gone out of NC once to play around on the my bike to see what that was like. Ran into some nasties and got a quick trip back to NC. The is one question that I have. How is the PVP, from what I have read in all the posts it seems that there is no real PVP just roving bans of casting gankers who are out to make this game suck as much as WoW and the rest of them.

That is not the case most of the time Dar. The game is usually low on numbers. So, finding gankers is a very very small chance unless it is on the weekends then you have to be especially careful.
This game is a really awesome game and you probably can tell from playing a game like WoW. I myself played WoW and after the addiction that I had formed broke, I realized the game is very terrible.
This game does not have huge numbers that you would be accustom to seeing. Instead, you get a good game that is fun to play with a few people you meet here and there, just look to have fun and see what the game is really like with different classes and different areas, it truly is a game that could occupy time and is always fun, not a grind or raid fest, ask any more questions you have, peace.

Thanks for the answer.
I already like that there is a lot of flexibility to the characters so that I am not stuck being of one class, unlike a good portion of games out there where it means starting all over just to change your Dwarf Priest to a Pali. As for the people I have watched the chat channel and most seem like good people. God and my girl-fiend  willing I may just end up calling this one home.

Pretty simple answer to your question, this is one of the few active sites linked on the Neocrom home and is the only one I could find that I could understand.

Well tbh you've come across the best fansite for the Neocron english speaking community! Plus we are home to the item database and the mission database!

Enjoy your stay here :)
