THN Login issues

Hi all,

I've had a few comments form people saying they are having login issues. I think I've identified the cause of the issues, but to be 100% sure, I need your help.

If you think you had a login problems can you give me as much information as possible. If possible, can you include the following information.

1. The browser and version you are using.
2. Where did you login to? eg Front page (http://www.techhaven.org/) The Forum (http://www.techhaven.org/forum) or the Rares DB (http://rares.techhaven.org/)
3. Whether you have "Remember me selected"

If you want to see if you are logged in properly, just click on the Home, Forums and Rares DB links at the top.

Logged in on the front page, did NOT check remember me

Got a 404 error but clicking back took me to the main page and i was logged in

using Iexporer 7 ( yes thats 7 )

What URL did you have when you got the 404 error?

im unable to re-create the error now, both IE and firefox work fine now.

Unable to log into rares database with edit password.
I log in once and it tells me I have exeeded my amount of 5 invalid logins
Therefore can not edit rares since Sunday 28th of May.

Using Netscape 7 and "remember me" never did work either

Tried again with IE 7 also not working

Tried to change password, no such function for the rares database either,
I can only reset my THN password

IE7 is not supported, as it's a browser which is still in Beta and is known to have issues. Please use either Firefox or IE6, or NS7.

The password for the Rares DB is the same as your forum password. If you managed to post here, try clicking on the link to the Rares DB above when you have logged in.

If that fails, try the THN cookie cleaner here - http://www.techhaven.org/cookies/

I was worried someone had reset my password since I received
a mail requesting activation of a new password.
I ignored that activation request btw
