It's come to my attention that there is a year missing from the THN copy of the Neocron History.
After a check, the Neocron english manual PDF is also missing one year, but in the German version, the history for 2754 is there. I'l be contacting KK about this, but if you are using this for the NPC competition, use this at your own risk!

In der Zwischenzeit nutzt der Twilight Guardian die allgemeine Verwirrung und anderweitige Auslastung der CityAdmin aus und schleust nach mehreren Fehlschlägen einen Virus in das Netz der Area MC5 ein. Der Virus zeigt nicht den vollen Erfolg und es gelingt nur, einen Teil des Ablaufs zu stören. Die Gehirnwäsche schlägt fortan fehl, doch verlieren die Betroffenen trotzdem ihr Gedächtnis.
Nach mehreren Wochen erbitterter Kämpfe beschließt der Dome of York, als Reaktion auf Rezas Hetzkampagne, ein Treffen mit der Allianz abzuhalten. Beide Parteien werden sich schnell einig, und es wird beschlossen, die Neutronenemitter-Waffen des Dome of York an die Allianzmitglieder zu liefern. Als die CityAdmin davon erfährt, werden mehrere Notsitzungen mit den verbündeten Fraktionen abgehalten. Da jeder Versuch, einen wirksamen Schutz vor der Neutronenemitter-Technologie zu entwickeln, gescheitert ist, beauftragt die CityAdmin die City Mercs mit der Entführung von Wissenschaftlern des Dome of York. In der folgenden Woche gelingt es den CityMercs nach mehreren heftigen Kämpfen, in einen geheimen Forschungsaußenposten des Dome of York einzudringen und von dort aus eine Gruppe Wissenschaftler zu entführen.
Als die Redaktionsbüros des Neocronicle von einer gewaltigen Explosion zerrissen werden, weicht in Neocron dem Entsetzen sehr schnell der Frage nach dem Warum und vor allem nach dem Täter. Das NCPD ermittelt und stößt auf Unglaubliches. Bis auf eine haben alle Überwachungscams zum fraglichen Zeitpunkt nichts als statische Störungen aufgenommen. Auf dieser einen ist jedoch deutlich zu erkennen, wie eine kleine Gruppe von Personen in der Aufmachung der Fallen Angels in den Firmensitz des Neocronicle eindringt, ihn wieder verlässt und wie sich kurze Zeit später die Explosion ereignet. Das durch die Beziehungen des Techhavens zum Twilight
Guardian ohnehin durch Misstrauen geprägte Verhältnis zwischen Fallen Angels und CityAdmin verschlechtert sich dramatisch. Die CityAdmin lässt Soldaten rings um den Techhaven aufstellen, um weiteren Störungen vorzubeugen. Auch eigentlich befreundete Fraktionen stellen der Führung der Fallen Angels aufgrund der scheinbar eindeutigen Beweise unangenehme Fragen ... die mit bleierner Stille beantwortet werden. Keine noch so kleine Äußerung zu den Anschuldigungen ist aus den oberen
Etagen des Techhavens zu erhalten. Während dies von einigen als Schuldeingeständnis verstanden wird, glauben andere, dass die Fallen Angels es schlicht nicht für nötig erachten, sich zu derart absurden Anschuldigungen zu äußern.
Während der nächsten Wochen entwickeln ProtoPharm und Biotech mit Hilfe der entführten Wissenschaftler eine Implantat-Medizin-Kombination, die einen gewissen Schutz vor der Neutronentechnologie bietet. Die Truppen der Neocron-Loyalen Fraktionen werden so schnell es geht mit der Neuentwicklung versehen und gewinnen dadurch langsam wieder die Oberhand in den Wastelands. Dennoch bildet der Dome of York eine für die Truppen von Neocron undurchdringliche Verteidigungslinie. Viele Monate lang geht der Krieg so gut wie gar nicht voran; die zähen Angriffe und die eiserne Verteidigung des Dome of York erinnern an Szenen des ersten Weltkriegs.
Während sich Neocron und Dome of York in den Wastelands erbittert bekriegen, versuchen die Mitglieder der Anti-Reza-Allianz, sich in taktisch möglichst günstige Positionen zu bringen. Die Crahn-Mönche sowie die Kämpfer des Twilight Guardian kämpfen Seite an Seite mit den Streitern des Dome of York gegen Neocron. Somit sind sich Rezas politische Berater einig, dass Crahn eine ernstzunehmende Bedrohung für Rezas Macht geworden sind. Sie lassen in Plaza und Via Rosso die Zahl an Copbots drastisch erhöhen und alle PSI-Mönche außer den loyalsten Dienern aus der Stadt vertreiben. Die manipulativen Crahn-Mönche versuchen daraufhin, sich mit den Streitern des Dome of York so gut wie möglich zu stellen − mit dem Hintergedanken, letztlich die Kontrolle über beide Städte zu erlangen. Den Crahn schwebt dabei ihre alte Taktik vor: sich zur geheimen Macht, die im Hintergrund die Fäden zieht, aufzuschwingen, diesmal eben im Dome of York. Denselben Hintergedanken haben allerdings auch die Kämpfer des Twilight Guardian. Sie sind überzeugt, dass sie mit schierer Feuerkraft zum richtigen Zeitpunkt die Regierungsgewalt in beiden Städten an sich reißen können. Sie machen aus ihrer Siegesgewissheit keinen Hehl gegenüber den Unterhändlern des Dome of York, was zu Verstimmungen gegenüber Yagers Kämpfern führt. Diese werden jedoch nicht nach außen getragen.
Schon lange schwebt den Black Dragons vor, den Pepper Park, in dem sie aufgrund der Feindschaft mit dem mächtigen Tsunami-Syndikat niemals wirklich Fuß fassen konnten, zu verlassen und sich dem Dome of York als neue Bürger und Kampfkräfte anzudienen. Als das Tsunami-Syndikat davon erfährt, versucht es mit großer rhetorischer Mühe, den Dome of York davon zu überzeugen, dass das Syndikat der bessere Verbündete wäre. Zum Schein geht der Dome of York darauf ein, nur um mit den Black Dragons dieselbe Absprache zu treffen. Jeder innerhalb der Anti-Reza-Allianz scheint nur auf den eigenen Vorteil bedacht zu sein. |
