United Fallen Angels

Well a few of us ordinary runners got a little irritated,
at being split into different clans when it came to defending our ops.
Since we had a full team ready to go to Hawkins within seconds of first hack.
But Only 3 people could GR to underground rest would have to run there.
Severely damaging our responce time, and ruining an element of suprise.

So even though I love my clan leaders and I loved Jest and Kir in Mirrorshades.
I think its time that the "meat" decides for once.
Weve always had alot of small clans in TH because everyone want to show off their tag.
And they often have a few loyal runners.
Not many have had good experiences with mergers either.

But I think its about time that the runners that are constantly forced to jump from clan to clan.
Sat down and said that now they wanted to start something real.
Im not appealing to the Clan leaders or the subordinates.

Im asking people to show support for this so the current clan leaders will follow.

I dont want to start a discussion about the clans politics or leadership structure.
Thats for the people that join to sit down and discuss.
But all Im asking is that the clans goal is to hold ops and defend Tech Haven.

The clan name United Fallen Angels was suggested.
And we can use that for now but its open to debate by the members again.
(my own idea would be LeRoy`s Bar Personnel .)

This is no attempt to make my own clan.
Its a desperate attempt to kickstart Fallen Angels,
and hopefully the joy of playing for some people.
Neocron can be a tough game to play once in awhile.

Well u got some points there mate.. but yet again i gotta say the reason why i never joined another clan
is that i'm a leader not a follower like jest said they mayby would attack sxr and brtf.. not that i blaim him
but i just don't wanna kill ppl i don't want to kill.. make my own desisions.. lead the clan.
[TgR] was my own clan for 2 years already kinda hard to give up.. its like asking NDA or DARK to merge with other clans imo..
but lets wait what husk thinks about it..

Of course, to be honest, I don't expect any of Phoenix will want to join the UFA clan. It's not our style. We will of course aid where possible.

We do need a big clan, and being a 'united faction' clan would be the best way of doing it, instead of making one current clan 'big'. If everyone joined TgR, it would be wrong. TgR represents an FA clan, but not FA as such. A UFA clan would adhere to the Faction story I would hope. And yeah. I'm probably talking about shooting at BRTF, NDA etc.

I've already stated, I will give my full support as chairman to this venture. We need a force capable of a rapid response to an OP raid.

Yes I think it would be a great idea. However I believe that every leader interested is also interested in the groundrules for such an idea. So this has to be thought thru and discussed.
It is hard to give up a clan but I think it is the first in NC history that a whole faction is thinking about uniting.

Indeed.. it is the one thing we have been able to do. Work together. Look at the state of TG.. FF, Sprit and TR.. each of them have a different objective and they tend not to work together.

FA Faction chat has turned into, as mentioned before, a clan chat.

I think questions still remain before this can go ahead. What will the main aims be? To defend TH? To keep ownership of the adjacent OP's? To go to Pepper Park and 'pwn' ? (hopefully people will keep roleplay in mind).

Maybe it would be an idea for the Faction Councillor, Mr Wonderboy, to be the leader of this clan. That way no one person has dominating power. The ranks within the clan could then seperate out into the groups/clans we have now. So a rank for Mirrorshades Leader and one for Mirrorshades Member, same for TgR etc.

However, there is always going to be one big issue. People will want their own clan. I can't see either of the aforementioned clans wanting to disband to form a united FA force.

I'm also pretty sure that the leaders of such clans and newer clans who don't know how we work in FA will want to lose their status.

If we are going to be united, we all need to agree.

and erm.. i don't wanna lose my clan and my way's of doing things to play as pure faction as zane says.. we'v had our fights with neutrals like BRTF they attacked us.. and faction wise we shouldn't do shit then or something ?

we'r still a clan.. and clan comes before faction imo.. second i have no intention to "fight" jest over members.. cause 2 big clans can be done nda/sxr before that nda / ss erm spirit / ff

i wanna play the game my way and [TgR]s way.. and not the way of the faction as KK made it for us..

ooc: well.. I'm pure roleplayer.. I suck at PvP.. so I gotta be good at something.. right?

Hence I play my faction 100%.. my company works within the bounds of the fallen angel's faction and I will adhere to the outlines that KK have set.

Also, being an FCA I do have to press the issues of the faction from the 'KK's story' side. So I can't and won't condone violence towards factions who are meant to be non-hostile.

To be quite honest with you all, I see more power in the Fallen Angels than OP wars. We don't need ownership of land.. sure our surrounding outposts would be nice, but we can gain power through science and industry. Leave TG and CA to do the fighting.

The way I see it, KK's story has 3 people engaged in a war. TG vs CA and DoY vs CA. Or to put it more appropriately, Anti-City vs Pro-City.

The Fallen angels, although marked as 'Anti-City' are not hostile to any of these. In fact, FA would rather not be hostile to anyone. Crahn attack FA because they think our technology is blasphemous. Tangent because our technology is superior and BD because they think they can bully us. That's my take on the story. I honestly don't think FA should contain people who only want to fight. Sure, we need people who 'CAN' fight.. but not those who can do nothing else. FA are scientists. Simple as.

I can only lead in what I believe. And I believe the faction should be based around what I've said. Whether it is one big defensive clan or several specialist clans and companies. That's up to the people of Tech Haven. But I do warn you, I'm hardcore roleplay before I even pick up a weapon.

LeRoy I know you were meaning this for the "non-leaders" but I'll give my take. I have said it many times, I don't have to be a leader. In fact, many ways I wish I wasn't. Take Fight Night for example, I started it yes, but I was very quick to pass on the role to some one else. I take leadership very seriously, and if I can't do a good job as a leader then I don't want to be one.

I would be just as happy following "order" or going along with another clan leader. I don't NEED to be in charge, but I AM in charge currently, so I act as such.

I have also said it before, I will never be a Fallen Angel again without the Mirror-Shades tag. That might sound silly or stupid to some people, but its not to me. I will gladly be a ranked 0 member of even my own clan, but the day the Mirror-Shades tag leaves my head is the day where I seek a home elsewhere. It's that important to me.

Well just to recap,
Killer isnt planning on supporting this idea,
and Zane have a successful company.

So its not really you guys that need to discuss the clans politics.
As I mentioned its up to the people who want to join,
who actualy support the idea.

So far the only one supporting the idea who have given any input are Ressi.

And atleast I hope to get some reason as to why the ordinary runner want to join, or doesnt want to.

If a clan as whole support this idea, the clan leader doesnt have any extra influence from the start.
It depends on what structure we decide to take.

Mr Leroy,

In matters such as this I put my position as Phoenix Ltd CEO aside and don my Chairman hat.

It's not just the clan leaders I deal with, it's all matters FA.

So this is of great concern to me. I want our faction to prosper, but that means the people of Tech Haven have to find their best attributes and styles.

I will not say which is better, small clans or one big one. I will, however, give my support either way, but only under the circumstances and guidelines that are in place with regards to our faction.

(ie. I'm not going to promote a 'crackheads' type clan or a clan that doesn't fit the FA 'missionlist' if you know what I mean)
